Namaste! HELLO. Believe it or not, it has been almost 8 months since I landed in Nepal. So much has happened and I am pleased to say that I am aliveee!
Bibek was here in Nepal for over a month and we had loads of fun! We even got braces. So much for being childhood best friends haha. Thank God he was here, at least a month of my LONG holiday was occupied. Too bad he had to return :'( And then on April 25, a disaster earthquake hit Nepal! It was a Saturday, I did not really have any plans but had wanted to go out as it was boring. Later I found out that we were to go to our relative's for lunch with Sila didi's family. And soon, it had only been about less than an hour that we were there when the earth started shaking! Since, being from a non-natural disaster country, I had no idea what was happening. All I saw was that everyone started running towards the exit and my instinct told me to run as well. I was on the stairs when it started shaking vigorously and all the could hear was "Ram ram ram". I held tightly on the stairs not knowing what to do as the earth shook. My mind was blank and thought that maybe I would die today. For the next few weeks to months, we stayed outside and it was quite scary as the temors continued. It was small most of the time and big at times.
I officially started my college soon on 26th July, we went to Hyatt Regency for our orientation on the first day and I made a few new friends who are still my close dear ones till now. In class, I sit with Tamdin, she is a Tibetian Sherpa who was born in Tibet and lived in New York for a few years. She speaks English most of the time so I am really comfortable with her. She is tall! 5 ft 8 inches. She is a pretty and really nice girl, I find it easy to talk with her. Can you believe she was the girl who sat behind me during our entrance exam! Coincidence at its best. I will post the pictures up soon! :D
I have Aachal, Simran, Sankalpa, Smriti, Neha, Sudiksha and many more on the list!
Okay, now the main..I am in a relationship with a really nice guy who treats me well. We will be reaching 2 months soon :) We are on LDR (Long Distance Relationship) which is kinda sad :( But I am happy with him :D Recently he is in Nepal so we try to meet up whenever my mom lets me off and when he is free. He is returning in 9 days which makes me really sad cause I don't know when he will be coming to Nepal again. It is going to be a long wait with so much patience.
Tbh, I don't know how I started liking him. Maybe it's the way he talks, he basically explains everything so well which got me *.* For the first time, I got attracted to someone's personality and I really hope that we last as you don't meet someone you can call you soul mate everyday or any other day really. Then slowly, I fell in love with him. I am really grateful to God that I met him. He makes me feel special and it just feels so good.( I cannot express cause it is just too good to be true) We have only met for like 3 times in real life and we are planning to meet up soon! I am excited haha!
I just got home from the chowk. Met up with Ozesh Lala and Alok Pun for pani puri. :)
I will update tomorrow hopefully as I have homework to do! Weekend is just a day away :D

Nepal, the land of Himalayas
Omg how long has it been since my latest update?! 5 months, woah...
The first I'd like to say is that I am currently living in Nepal, I moved here about a month ago on 24 December last year. Yeah, it is already 2015! Okay, so this country that I am currently living is where my ancestors and 99.9% of whole family tree has been born and raised in. That 0.01% includes my me and a few of my uncles and a little niece.(I love her so much)
Well, since being born and brought up in another country many many miles away from home, I have always been curious about the country that my parents were born and brought up in. They told me that I was lucky as I had the creature comfort and even education is luxury since they failed to receive.
Haha I was told that my mom was really fierce type of girl while she grow up, it was kinda sad that she had to get married by the age of 14, stopped education and serve her mother-in-law who is my grandmother. My grandfather from dad's side, passed away about 2 years after dad got into laure, from a cancer i guess. I don't really like talking with dad about it since it must be sad for him, like I would not want to lose my dad when I am like what? 23 years old was it? My grandfather was a Hong Kong laure they call it here which was established before the uk ko laure emerged. Some of my uncles were born and raised in hk but came back to Nepal, village after baje retired. My grandmother from dad's side is still alive until now, I think she is in her late 80s. She is such a sweetheart but kinda selfish haha. Let me tell you a little about my family's background. My grandmother is actually the 2nd wife of my grandfather and both the 1st and 2nd wife are real blood sisters. Wow, I would never want to do that to my sister or want my sister to marry my husband.
Okay so life in Nepal is kinda boring but I do get to go out sometimes.
Well, for the next few years I will be staying in Nepal and I really want to live like a local with commotion of micro, people shouting in the public transport like it's their property, having no toilet around the city and waiting until I get home to relief myself. Experiencing the cold winter and sitting in the sun. Haha did I say it in a bad manner? You know electricity and water supply here are considered as luxury! Damn, it should be basic like 24 hour supply but then again, I cannot do anything really. I will have to say that Nepal has taught me a lot. I have to wash my own clothes! I have to be more careful about my skin since the weather is different here. You have to apply lots of cream and lotions like vaseline. Ohmy, if i don't apply once within 3 days, my skin will start peeling! Just how bad is that?! I would really recommend the Vaseline petroleum jelly, it works like magic! ;)
I will be starting college soon in June. I am actually having mixed feelings since the people here are so different, the way they speak, their gestures, everything is different. Everyone is speaking Nepali all the time. I do find it weird but it's a good kind of weird. What I did not like the most about walking along the streets is that people just bang against you and they don't even say sorry oh please, they should at least have a basic antic. Well, I am not saying all but maybe about 90% of them are disrespectful. Since I have learnt well from a young age, I find myself saying sorry. I will have to say that they don't deserve my "Sorry" at all. It disgust me somehow but then again, this country is trying to improve. The goal is there but the body...nothing is planned and it just gets tougher day by day.
I can't proudly say that Nepal is progressing, another day goes by and nothing is done for the betterment of the country. I believe that I am not fully aware but I am a citizen of this country and I have the right to judge and point out the facts to where this country is heading.

Sad story to move on
So well, everyday of my life is totally boring. I don't do anything much, I don't even pick up my book to study. In this way, I do not know if I will pass my O levels this coming October. :(
I want school to resume but at the same time, it is so stressing that I want holiday instead. God, I need to pick myself up and put up my socks! So I decided that from today onwards until the end of O levels, I am going to study and put aside my phone for some time instead of having it with me every single time. :) I hope that I will be able to achieve that. I remember 4 years ago what my mama(mom's cousin brother) told me..he told me that the only way in life to ever succeed is to study and make our parents proud. I was 13 and I did not pay attention much. He passed away last year in June when I was in Nepal..as my family and I were on our way back to Dharan after a few days in Therathum. Mama had wanted to meet us in Kathmandu(ktm) when we had arrived Nepal before going Dharan but he had to study for his engineering examination so he planned to meet after we returned back but fate is a strange thing right? We did not get to meet, I could not get more of his lectures(I call it lecture as haha I was young then for it to sink into my brain) It was really sad for me as I never want anyone to actually kick the bucket. I still have the heavy heart till today,it makes me sad that I could not meet him but I guess that's what life is about. Mama is in a good place now.
Haste mama drowned in the Trisuli river of Nepal. I feel more sad for Kailash mama(his older brother) as he had lost his mother not too long ago and he had to lose his youngest brother next. I wish Haste mama had not demised, he was the top student in his college, he was the best. I cannot remember the exact date he decrease(middle of June) but he will away be in my heart to guide me to do my best for my studies and make my parents proud of what I can become. So there it is, I am going to study because he believed in me and I do not want to disappoint him. I do not know why I went through all the pain and tears in writing this but yeah, the chance of passing national examination does not come again and again. They have to wait a full year so do it once and do it well. God bless. RIP Haste mama.

Cousin getting married + my random thoughts
Hey ! Well, I am really busy these days with I don't know what. Haha. Nah, it's not really studies but I wish it was. I get distracted with other things when I want to study so that explains. :(
Studying is my first priority but it seems like I am running away from it instead of facing it. I still have a BIG dream to fulfil. And that's only gonna be realised if I study hard. But anyway, it's Monday today. The most boring day ever. Lol. Mid year Examinations is here since last Tuesday and well, I have not really been studying. I just get distracted by television and the love of my life, HANDPHONE ! Haha not really but it's something I badly need with me. So yeah..
Anyways my best housewife type cousin is getting married soon ! :D Omg, I am going crazy here. Alisha a.k.a Nitu, who have been in my life for almost my entire life, who attended nursery with me, who cried so badly when we were not classmates during nursery to getting marry. She is a year older than me, more like 6 months. I helped her to clean her room last Thursday as her would-be-husband, Uttam was to go to her room and talk with each other. OMG. Her room was so damn messy. I took us about 5 hours ! I could not study for my Chemistry paper the next day but as a cousin, I had to help. By the end of the day, everyone agreed that her room looked so much better. Alisha's dad said,"Finally, your room can breathe." Haha ! It was kinda fun but super tiring.
One thing, I did not like the most was Alisha blabbering about why I should also marry in Singapore. Damn, I had to keep on telling her to shut up cause I do not want to marry so early. I do not want to live in a life fully dependant on my husband. I would want someone who is the best, super nice, fun, funny, lovely, sweet, creative, ever-smiley(Haha is that a word ?), etc. Basically someone who loves me more than I do. Someone who I feel for. So yeah.
Okay, I will do a quick check on my social networks and play some games, take a nap and then study. It's vesak day tomorrow anyway. Yeah, I know I am procrastinating on studies but I will be on task...soon. :)

Novotel.
Good evening !
I have not posted anything for a while. I have started working at Novotel, which is a hotel at Clarke Quay. I still remember 2 years ago when Sajan first asked me to join, I was only 14 years old and Novotel only allowed 16 and above. I asked Kausila who is in my batch how she get to work there, she told me that she had just recently turned 16 so it means that she is 2 years older than me ! Shocked me at that point of time but well, she was born in Nepal and came to Singapore later. So back to ME working at the atmosphere of Novotel. Sajan told me to join even before N level started. I was not sure.
So on 21st of December 2013, I started my first day of work at Novotel. Since Samiksha could not make it on that day, I went with Jasu, Rebika and Jany. They worked at level 6 while I worked at level 5. Thank God, Sajan was on the same floor as me so he helped me as much as he could. Sujita was my partner but most the time, we did not need each other at all. It was like 1 person to 1 table. There was his time when it was the fish course. I had just placed the fish 3 minutes ago and Sajan went to my table to transfer the fish to a smaller plate. Right at that moment, one of the manager in red tie stared at me and well, I could only do was stared back and feel awkward. Sajan passed me the big platter to clear. As I walked only 2 steps, another black jacket took the platter from my hands, not even saying a word. Well, that's weird.
Soon the day ended and I went to level 6 to meet Jasu and the others. Since we were hungry, we made our way to Joo seng to eat. Reached home around 2am.
On the 22nd of December 2013, I went with Samiksha a.k.a Sonika or Sam. We went a little early so we had time to go to the canteen to eat but I swear the food was bad. Nothing was nice. :( Ate a little and I made bandung by myself. It was a little awkward in the canteen so we went out quickly. At first my partner was Soshin a.k.a Ashim but we had to change since both of us did not know how to serve the VIP. Therefore, my partner was changed to Sunita didi. She did VIP table as well as helped me. She was really fast. :D Karan dai and Sam helped me as well. Anup too, bring toothpick for me when I was too busy.
I had to go to the bar a couple of time and Riwaj, who was working there for the night asked me why did I leave MBS and joined Novotel. I thought I'd tell him the truth. I told him the reason and he was like,"OMG." Quickly made an exit. When I return to the bar later, the first thing he said was,"I thought you guys were really good friends ?" Well, we were but not anymore and he said,"It's hard to understand when girls quarrel."
Sam, Sanjay and I did OT until 12.30am and left at 1am. Riwaj was waiting for us at McDonalds'. On the way, Riwaj told us a fact about something scary at Novotel. Damn, it was really scary. :/ Took me ages to sleep since I was feeling scared. Woke up at 1.15pm this afternoon.

8th & 9th December 2013 !
8th December 2013
Dhanu didi arrived Singapore last night ! :D woke up at about 8am in the morning. I had bathe at about 2am at night. Haha it was freezing cold. Acted like it was a normal day. Mom asked me to go to Ritu boju's house. While I was walking to the lift, Dhanu didi, Sunuma and bhena with dad was walking towards me. I quickly place my palms together and greeted them namaste. They turned and looked at me and said,"Ay Saima po raicha, ko ho justo lageko." I got the stroller from boju for Sunuma and came down. It wasn't really awkward at house though. She is my didi alright. Played with Sunuma, ate my lunch and took a taxi to Gardens By The Bay from Serangoon taxi stand since I could not find any taxi around Joo Seng. Bought the tickets and waited for the others to come. They arrived in about 15 minutes. :) we went to the cloud forest first and then to flower dome.
One thing that Dhanu didi and I am alike is that we love to take pictures ! But hahah, in front of them, I did not take much pictures so they thought that I do not like to take pictures. Lol.
After that, we had a quick snack at Popeyes. Took the Singapore flyer ! π Well, the weather was not good. :( It was raining so we could not really see anything much.
Went to OG after that for a little bit of shopping and back home. Dinner was at Yanjna's house. Played with Sunuma and soon, I was feeling really sleepy. I slept at around 11.30pm.
9th December 2013.
Woke up early at 7am. I swear it was really hard to actually wake up ! Mom came about 3 times and finally switched on the lights on the 4th time so that I will wake up. Washed up and got ready to see off didi, Sunuma and bhena. Their flight was at 11am but they went in at about 9.30am.
Mom and I had McDonald breakfast. Hotcakes also known as pancakes. π
Got home and watched dramas for a bit and soon dozed off. It was really tiring but meeting them after so many years felt so good. Especially Sunuma ! She is going to be 7 months old this 13 December. Such a cute angel. πΌππ❤️π
Going to Orchard with Susmita today. :) I will update soon. π

Misunderstanding.
Dhanu Didi (Dhankumari) is coming to Singapore for transit this Saturday night with my little niece, Sunuma and her husband. So we have to tour them around Singapore on Sunday. They have been here a few times and have gone almost everywhere except for 'Gardens by the Bay', which opened last year so we will be going there. Mom is going to be super annoying for sure ! She will ask me to take pictures of her almost everywhere ! π
I am more excited about meeting Sunuma actually. She is going to be 7months old this month ! :D
And yeah, Sandesh(Sandy) found out about my blog. That stalker ! -.- So he knows my secrets. Oh well, nothing I can do now. Anyways good night ! π΄π⭐️
